Do I need an account to browse vocabulary?
No. You can browse the public dictionary, levels, sources, books and chapters without signing in. An account is used for saved learning progress and personalized learning data.
Where is my learning progress stored?
For signed-in learners, learning progress, saved words, study history and personalized settings are stored in the GermanVocab account database so they can follow the learner across browsers and devices.
Can I create my own batches and tests?
Yes. The learning space supports personal batches, curated batches, adaptive practice and configurable tests using vocabulary from the available sources and books.
How do I report a vocabulary error?
Use the contact page and include the exact word, the source or book, and a clear description of the suspected error.
Why can a page be unavailable?
Vocabulary data and learning services can occasionally be unavailable during maintenance or when a server-side dependency fails. A dedicated status/error page explains the next step.
