GermanVocab learner accounts store learning progress, saved words and study history in the account database so the data can follow you across browsers and devices.

The public site uses lightweight first-party analytics for page views and vocabulary searches. It does not intentionally store IP addresses, account identifiers or device fingerprints. Search queries are retained so the administrator can understand which vocabulary users are looking for.

The site also makes direct browser requests to external dictionary services when a learner asks for an external lookup. Review the external provider's privacy practices separately.
